Date Night Part 1- Sassy Fringe

Well we’ve officially sped through January, right into February, and you know what comes with February? Valentine’s Day! The day you either love, hate, or could care less about. I’m pretty sure I fall into the latter of the three; however, I do LOVE a good date night. It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day, or any other special day. I just enjoy dating my husband! “What? Married people still go on dates?” YES! And lots of them!  What comes with date night? Super cute outfits! For this month, I’ve decided to dedicate my posts to outfits that are absolutely perfect for date night, starting with this sassy fringe, black mini dress!

Now let’s be clear. I am not a fringe fan, but I could not resist this dress. It’s the perfect amount of subtle fringe for me, with an also subtle, high low hem that shows just the perfect amount of thigh! I wish that I could tell you where I got it from, but I snagged it from a boutique that was going out of business for 15 bucks and I don’t even remember the name! I snagged these super cute sock booties from Steve Madden, and they are very similar to the Yeezy Knit Boots. Dupes for the win! The leopard print wristlet is from Express and I’ve had it for a good 2 or 3 years. Side note: I try to buy pieces that I won’t get tired of and that I know I’ll be able to wear over and over if I want. I rarely buy things that I’ll only want to wear for one season.

I would normally throw on some sheer tights considering it’s technically still winter, but Nashville has been throwing us some spring time sunshine here lately and I just couldn’t resist showing these legs! It gets me excited and ready for spring!  And besides… who really likes winter anyway?! This outfit is perfect for dinner, or a night out on the town!
