Postpartum Style

Here I am, 4 months postpartum and back with my first style post since early pregnancy! It took me a while because I wanted to start back when I was comfortable with my body. Pregnancy changes everything! But I am grateful for the many blessings, a healthy baby and body, and to be on this motherhood journey! In becoming a mom, I wanted to be sure that my clothes are still stylish and that I look good wearing them. After I had my son, I attempted to go back and wear things that I had pre baby, but my body just isn’t the same. I was perfectly fine with the new adjustment, although it took some time to get used to. It just gave me the perfect excuse to go shopping!

The blazer that I have on is from an online boutique, and it actually came with matching shorts! I decided to skip the shorts for the photos because my booty has to grow into them. Did I tell you that when the “baby dropped”, my booty dropped too? Yeah, crazy right?! High waist shorts have been my go to lately, so I grabbed an old pair of high waist denim shorts. The oversized blazer hides the little bit of tummy that I have left so it gives the perfect little boost of confidence while I’m out and about. I initially wore this outfit with nude heels, but decided to switch it up with sneakers because who am I kidding? Walking around with a little one with heels on all day just isn’t realistic for me at this time.
